I'm Back!

After a long Blog Vacation and much nagging from my family .... I'm Back!

Last night I was chatting with Michael and all of a sudden I looked down at my pearl ring and the pearl feel off my ring setting. Needless to say I freaked out. My precious ring (that I treat like that other REALLY important ring that I have yet to receive) just fell apart. I almost cried. All day I have felt naked without it on my finger. I called the jeweler and they said they should be able to fix it. (Shewww)

I can't imagine how much anxiety I am going to have over the more sparkley ring in my future! Have any of you lost a stone off your ring or had to have your ring repaired?

  2. hi! I totally know how you feel! A few years ago I was washing my little ones hair and I looked down and the center stone out of my engagement ring was GONE..I was frantic trying to find it..It was 1ct..but still thats small outside of its setting, ya know. I finally found it in the kitchen sink that was still full of water..but it was able to be fixed and all has been good since then. I hope they can fix yours too! = )

  3. Oh dear... but it's easily fixed at any jeweler. I have a similar one and there's all these things that can cause the pearl to come off... I was told to get mine checked out every 1 to 2 years to make sure it's on tight.

  4. I lose diamonds out of my wedding ring like itis going out of style. I am not really good with my ring, but I think that is because my father in law is a jewler and can fix it any time. You should make sure to have the stongs tightened every few months.

  8. that stinks! luckily that hasn't happened to me...yet. but I totally get the naked feeling. Before the wedding we had the rings cleaned and I didn't wear my engagement ring for about 2 days so it would stay nice and pretty for pictures on the wedding day. it's such a weird feeling because you get so used to that little comfortable feeling on your finger. I'm sure the jeweler will get your ring fixed and back to you soon!! Welcome back by the way, you were missed!

  10. Oh no! So sorry! My bff has a pearl ring as her engagement ring and her jeweler told her that there is a definite possibility that it would pop out more than once in her lifetime. Booooo!

Hope your jeweler fixes it and gets it in there good!!

  11. Aw girl I totally know how you feel! I lost the pearls out of two of my favorite and most precious pearl rings this summer, one my boyfriend gave me, the other from my grandmother! I haven't taken them to a jeweler yet because I'm still slightly in denial! Let me know who you take yours to if they do a good job, and hopefully I can get mine fixed soon too! Best of luck!
